BRIEF BIOGRAPHY
Deputy Paweł Arndt is one among three members of the Polish Parliament from Gniezno. He graduated from Poznań University of Science – Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Politics has always been his passion. Since the early 90s he has been successfully working for the local community as the vice-president of the town and at last as a MP representing over 200000 people from his constituency.
In 1997 Paweł Arndt took a part in the general elections and got to the Parliament as a member of Akcja Wyborcza Solidarność (Solidarity Electoral Action)
In 2002 he was elected member of the Self-Government of the Wielkopolska Region. In this council he carried duties of Chairman.
2005 was a landmark in his political career. Then he won the election battle and became a Member of Parliament for the second time. In 2005 his party- Platforma Obywatelska (Civic Platform) won a landslide victory in the anticipatory elections. Deputy Paweł Arndt gained most of all the votes in Gniezno.
Paweł Arndt is married to Anna, teacher of Polish. Being a father of his two daughters- Marta and Joanna and a grandfather of Karol and Jan, he fulfils his dreams of a happy hearth and home. Outside work, Paweł Arndt’s interests include playing tennis and reading. He is also a keen traveler.
